AI & public domain
We want you to know exactly what you are reading: who wrote it, how it was made, and under what terms you may use it.
House originals
Inkora Stories's original works are written with the assistance of artificial-intelligence models under human editorial direction and review. The author names shown on them are editorial pen names (heteronyms) of Grupo Editorial Búho Real; they do not correspond to real people. Each work's page and its author profile say so.
When a work includes branching choices, illustrations or music generated with AI tools, we say so on its page.
Public-domain classics
The classics we publish are in the public domain in the United States and Colombia (and the European Union): the author died more than 80 years ago and the work was published before 1931. Texts come from open sources such as Project Gutenberg, credited on each page.
We use the text in its original language or old, already free translations. Our translations into Spanish or English are AI-assisted and editorially reviewed, and may contain errors: tell us and we will fix them.
What is ours
The original text and, where present, its period illustrations (such as John Tenniel's engravings for Alice) belong to everyone. Inkora Stories's digital edition (typesetting, episode segmentation, illustrations, music and assisted translations) belongs to Grupo Editorial Búho Real. You may quote with attribution; do not republish it wholesale.
Report a problem
If you believe a text should not be in the public domain in your country, or you find an error, Write to buhoreditores@gmail.com and we will answer within a reasonable time (15 business days at most).
